The Goddess of the Sea (Mā Zǔ | 妈祖)
Helmed in by deserts, mountains, and jungles, the Chinese's link to the world was the sea. As generations of traders, fishermen, and migrants set sail in search of livelihoods, adventure, and refuge, they looked to the Goddess of the Sea for safe passage.

Non-consecrated statues can be displayed as works of culture and art, expressing the same ideas and values but in a non-religious way.
